• The Las Vegas Aces and the “Other” Chicago team are predicted to be the World Series participants. The Chicago Iron Pigs are expected to win 88 games and win the NL Central by 3 over El Paso and Indianapolis. I guess our off-season turned heads.
• There's some good stuff in here, including an Iron Pig hitter, Gus Garcia, who had a great year. Predicted to hit .310 with 26 HR's! However, no pitchers of note for us.
• The really crazy one?
• The 1st overall pick in the 2008 draft, Zach Stewart, in his 1st two seasons has hit 23, and then 33 HR's, both years hitting .236. His OBP jumped almost 50 pts last year.
• This year?
• He's predicted to hit an IBL record 69 home runs with a .366 OBP.....
• Going to be following that one.
• Staten Island, Chicago (AL), Utah, and Cleveland are predicted to win the AL divisions, with Dallas and San Jose as Wild Cards.
• In the NL, the NY Punishers, us, Fresno, and Las Vegas, with Washington and El Paso as the wild cards.
• The reigning world champions are predicted to finish dead last in the AL East....
