Three-way tie at the top!
July 20, 1925

Nacional beat México to take the league lead, Guanajuato pile on winless Agraria, Veracruz drop one to Puebla. Francisco Carmona drives in 4 runs in 6 tries, earning Player of the Day!

Game 1 - Agraria de México vs Guanajuato
From early on, it was clear who would win this game. Francisco Carmona opened scoring with a triple in the 1st. 7 runs later, Agraria finally fought back, but their fire would die quickly. Final score: Guanajuato 11-2 Agraria

Game 2 - Nacional vs México
After a Jorge Velázquez triple scored 3 in the 2nd, it seemed like Nacional's fate was sealed. Down 5-0 in the 5th, Aniceto Granillo, Carlos Rico and Armando Ortiz put Genaro Casas' club within one run. In the 7th, Julio Reyes homered off Rafael Castillo to tie it up! Damián Ortiz delivered the winning blow one inning later with his first home run of the season. Final score: Nacional 6-5 México.

Game 3 - 74 Regimiento de Puebla vs Veracruz
In a closer affair, Cuban outfielder Orlando Espinosa makes the difference with a sac fly, with a double from Belisario Artola adding an insurance run. Final score: 74 Regimiento 2-0 Veracruz
