Going forwards in months 1937 for Jumbo Gauvin and came across this article about a fight Babe Beattie against a Leo Asselin. First thing of note this fight is not in the BoxRec data list for Beattie. Second thing you'll see in the article it talks about Beatties two fights with Jumbo Gauvin. The newspaper articles discussing those Gauvin fights spelled Babe's name Beatty! So some more proof verifying Beattie and Beatty were the same fighter. Once I finish Gauvin I'll go back to Beattie/Beatty and see what other fights I find for him and maybe some info on why the two different name spellings.
