CYL Regular Season Ends; CIT Academy, Coventry #1 Seeds
The dust has cleared from the regular season pennant chase and the clubs that survived are getting ready to do battle in the 2317 Commonwealth Youth League playoffs. Only the strong survive to play for the Youth Series championship. It's the playoffs -- a very special time to baseball fans everywhere -- and they start in just a few days.
With the playoffs mere hours away, each of the contenders are putting their game faces on. It's time for ballplayers to leave it all on the field. In the Commonwealth Youth League playoffs, miracles do happen, but most often it's simply the team that plays better baseball that goes home with the prize -- the much-coveted Youth Series championship. The Round 1 starts today with these games:
