2013 PLAYOFFS
- Wilfredo Diaz is removed from the Playoff roster, OF Dave Wheeler is added. Will be going with a 4 man rotation and a shorter bullpen
- Extending the season hurt our rotation. Guijosa is the most rested and only guy at 100% so he'll open the series vs Jacksonville. Followed by Morris, Bush, and Avendano.
- Mark Calkins back is bothering him so we're up in the air about starting him, or rookie Dan Ames.
- We were 5-4 vs Jacksonville during the season.
- Their offense ranks 9th and is led by Ricky Ramirez (.296-40-107). Devin Howard 6-13 was their best bat against us.
- Guijosa made 2 starts with an 8.16 ERA over 14.1 IP 15 K7 BB 19 H. Morris did not see them all year.
- Scott Herman (13-8 4.66) went 0-0 in 2 GS with a 9.58 ERA over 10.1 IP. John Simmons went 1-1 3.54 in 20.1 IP with 25 K and 3 BB.
- As of today they're saying (* = if necessary):
- Game 1) Miguel Dieguez (RH) 8-10 3.88 vs Bobby Guijosa RH (12-8 4.90)
- Game 2) John Simmons (LH) 15-11 4.16 vs Joe Bush LH (11-9 3.30)
- Game 3) Scott Herman (LH) 13-8 4.66 vs Joey Morris RH (9-10 3.71)
- *Game 4) Mike Loeffler (RH) 8-8 3.88 vs Ricky Avendano RH (10-11 4.26)
In the other 4 series
In the AL
- Charlotte vs Wyoming (Charlotte beat them 8-4 during the season)
