In one of the most epic playoff games in IBL history Charlotte's David Redman and Mel Ramirez hit back to back 9th inning HR's to give the Defenders a 5-2 lead. With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th Boston LF Kyle Griffin hit a game ending season saving walk off Grand slam to even the series at 3.

PLAYOFFS DAY 16

Washington beat New York 4-1 to come back from down 3-0 and win the series 4-3. New York failed to win a game after Kevin Terry went down.
Series MVP Daniel Gonzalez went 11-32 HR 7 RBI

Boston beat Charlotte 7-2 to win the series 4-3.
SS Aaron Beger went 17-34 4 RBI to win MVP
