- Our bullpen is a nightmare right now. An ERA of almost 5 behind a rotation that's over 5. Neither is sustainable but the bullpen faux pas tend to over emphasize a bad game. Absolutely nothing harder on a team than late collapses and we've surrendered at least 2 I can remember, 4 run or more leads in the 9th. Wright and his 8.64 ERA can be as mad as he needs to be but these are the games you look back on when you lose a division by 1 game....
- Manager Sean Spicer has announced Matt Wright will no longer close for the time being. Nate Gross will take over. (I selected the option to allow the manager to configure the bullpen and this is what we will go with:
- Closer Nate Gross, setting up McKitrick and Chris Becker, Middle guys Wright and Eichele, long guys Henderson and Rivera with Mark Williams the specialist.
