Victory, Dark Maintain Division Leads
The Victory Cave Crickets and Dark Bloodworms still appear to be on a crash course to the Nuka Series with just 19 of the season's 90 games remaining.
The Cave Crickets are four games up on Grape in the North Bradberton Division, with Quantum and Wild pretty much eliminated from contention. In the South Bradberton Division, the Bloodworms have a three-game lead on Quartz, with Orange seven back. Cherry, winners of the 2315 Nuka Series, is in last place.
Big Bear McIntosh is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Orange second baseman joined that select company when the Nuka World League announced the results of July's voting.
McIntosh totaled 38 hits, 12 walks, 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .404 batting average and .467 on-base percentage.
So far this season, McIntosh is batting .345 with 11 home runs, 50 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 284 at-bats, 27 walks and a .401 OBP. McIntosh has played in 70 games.
Kory DiLeva is the latest Nuka World League Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Grape starter stood out on the hill time and again last month and finished July with a sparkling 4-1 record.
In 5 starts last month, he fanned 26, walked 9 in 41.1 innings and posted a 2.18 ERA. DiLeva held opposing teams to a .274 batting average when he was on the mound.
This season, DiLeva has rung up 10 wins and 5 losses in 16 games. He has an ERA of 3.43 and has fanned 63 batters in 118 innings.
When it came to hitting the baseball, Swayne Pringle had few peers in the Nuka World League last month. The gifted second baseman for Victory tagged opposing pitchers for a .424 average and was voted the Rookie of the Month for July.
Included in his stats were 42 hits, 2 homers, 29 runs scored and 11 RBIs.
So far this year, Pringle is batting .405 with 8 home runs and 34 RBIs.
APL
The Amusement Park League only has 13 games left, so some stragglers will need to catch up soon if they want a playoff appearance in 2317. The Nuka Plant Electrics are not in that discussion, having already been eliminated.
Division leaders are the Nuka Bottling Plant Pack and Dunmore Ferris Wheels. Dunmore has a Magic # of 10.
Claw Clawney has a lot going for him. The Nuka Jolly third baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Amusement Park League has just picked him as its top hitter for July.
In 18 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .338 with 6 home runs, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
Thus far this season in 47 games, Clawney is batting .289 with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 50 hits in 173 at-bats.
Galactic Zone starter August Morgueman really put the chill on opposing teams in July and today was acclaimed the Amusement Park League Pitcher of the Month.
He excelled with a 3-0 mark and 3.07 ERA in 5 starts. In 29.1 innings, he fanned 17 and walked 14.
In 6 starts this season, Morgueman has rung up a 3-1 record and a 3.57 ERA.

Harbor Division a True Race, Dalton Farm Dominating Fog Division
The Harbor Division has become a two-team race, with the Far Harbor Ghoul Whales leading the Grand Hotel Atoms by a game with 19 to play. Trailing by 8 and 9 games, Cranberry Island and Acadia are also not out of the race but need to win at a high clip to make it to the 2317 Vim! Series.
The Fog Crawlers lead National Park by six games in the Fog Division, keeping them comfortable in the final month of the season. Echo Lake is 19 back, meaning they would need to go 19-0 with Dalton Farm going 0-19 just to tie. Eden Meadows is already eliminated.
National Park Gulpers 31-year-old first baseman Cross Sykes hit his way to a .426 batting average and the Vim! League Batter of the Month award in July.
He had 10 home runs, 22 RBIs and 24 runs scored for the month.
For the year, Sykes is batting .393 with 17 home runs, 40 RBIs and 55 runs scored.
What Ignitor Racine of the Grand Hotel Atoms did to Vim! League hitters in July was criminal. He assaulted them, broke them and walked off leaving them lifeless and lost as he stole away with the Pitcher of the Month award for his barbaric behavior.
"Racine was truly dominant out there," an opposing hitter said to reporters. "He really made hitters miserable."
The 24-year-old reliever threw 13.1 innings in 13 relief appearances as he registered 8 saves, 8 strikeouts, and notched a 2-1 record and 4.05 ERA for the month.
This year, his season stats show Racine has 8 saves in 13 relief appearances with a 2-1 mark and 4.05 ERA.
Paul Atreides earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Vim! League for last month's performance. The boyish Eden Meadows left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level.
Atreides hit .526 with 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award.
In this current campaign Atreides is hitting at a .415 clip with 5 home runs and 25 RBIs.
MDIL
There are 13 games to play, but the Mount Desert Island League is sure to have a fight until the end. In the Small Bertha Division, three games separate first from last, with Rock Point leading Nucleus by a game. In the Old Longfellow Division, first to last is only separated by five games. MS Azalea is at the top, one up on Haddock Cove.
Not known for his offensive prowess, Tony Ratliff set the league afire in July and took home the Mount Desert Island League Batter of the Month award.
The Haddock Cove first baseman posted a steady .446 batting average, 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 13 runs.
So far this season, Ratliff has recorded a .395 batting average with 30 hits, 5 home runs, 24 RBIs, 13 runs scored and a .444 OBP.
Gilb Ramos certainly found a groove in July. The Nucleus starter posted 3 wins last month to easily claim the Mount Desert Island League Pitcher of the Month.
During the month Ramos was 3-1 with a 2.17 ERA. He made 5 starts, tossed 37.1 innings and had 13 strikeouts.
This year, Ramos has posted a record of 7 wins and 5 losses with a 3.14 ERA. He has appeared in 13 games and struck out 36 in 94.2 innings.
