I've never had a strong opinion one way or the other. I see both sides. But depending on the infraction, I can see why some players are left out.
If you let players that do PEDs, or allow players to bet on their sport, and they still make the HOF, that sends a message that you can gamble or use PEDs and still make the HOF. So I see that side of it. But why weren't you doing anything when it was happening? Their record shows they should be HOF. O.J. Simpson is HOF.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I think Pete Rose should have been HOF yesterday, But I understand why he isn't.
