Victory, Dark to Nuka Series

Close the book on the Nuka World League regular season. For most of the ballclubs, it's all over except for the crying. Now attention turns to the playoffs. It will be the best against the best to determine the Nuka Series champion for 2317. And it all kicks off soon. The all-important second season is about to begin.

Playoff baseball generates a reaction in every fan. To the fan of the perennial loser, it's a time to moan again about their team's misfortune. To the fan whose club defines success by the number of Nuka Series championship trophies lining their clubhouse walls, anything short of the ultimate victory is a disaster. This is playoff baseball. Baseball lovers can't help but be consumed by it in some way or another. There is nothing better than playoff baseball. These Nuka Series battles will unfold later today:
Victory Cave Crickets vs Dark Bloodworms.



The 2317 Nuka World League batting champion is Swayne Pringle of the Victory Cave Crickets.

He just closed out an impressive season with a .401 average.

His consistency at the plate was a prime reason the 27-year-old second baseman beat out the competition.

A slump was a rare occurrence for him. Playing in 86 games, Pringle contributed 144 hits, 9 home runs and 41 RBIs to the Cave Crickets attack.


APL

For the majority of the Amusement Park League ballclubs, they will have to wait until next year to make the playoffs. They missed their chance this year and will be spending the offseason living the good life and also getting ready for next year, when hope always springs eternal. But for a few select teams, they are still in the hunt. They have made the playoffs. This is their day in the sun. This is their chance to win league championship. This is their moment of fame and glory. This is their chance to win the Amusement Park Series.

Another regular season has played out, and the stage is set for the next level. The Amusement Park League playoffs are here. It has been a long, hard grind for the contending clubs to make the Amusement Park Series. All the playoff-bound teams want to cap off the year in glorious style by capturing the prestigious 2317 Amusement Park Series trophy. Each team will begin that journey today with these playoff games:

News of the Vim! League and Its Affiliates

Dalton Farm, Grand Hotel Win Vim! Divisions

Another Vim! League season has come to a close. The clubs that made the playoffs will be doing battle in a few days, while the also-rans will go home with their heads hung low, thinking of what might have been. The playoffs will culminate with the two best teams going head-to-head for the league's title in the Vim! Series. To win it, you need talent, skill and a little luck.

The regular season set the stage and pruned down the number of title contenders. Now the clubs that made the cut will go at it on the diamond in the 2317 Vim! League playoffs. It's the first step in the race to win the Vim! Series trophy. The Vim! Series starts today with these clubs set to battle:
Dalton Farm Fog Crawlers vs Grand Hotel Atoms.



Junkyard Dog Williams of the National Park Gulpers capped an impressive season by winning the Vim! League batting crown. The 24-year-old Williams, who hit .397, proved to be a tough out for opposing pitchers all year long.

Included in his stats were 126 hits, 18 home runs and 63 RBIs. He also scored 80 runs and played in 79 games.


MDIL

The dust has cleared from the regular season pennant chase and the clubs that survived are getting ready to do battle in the 2317 Mount Desert Island League playoffs. Only the strong survive to play for the Mount Desert Island Series championship. It's the playoffs -- a very special time to baseball fans everywhere -- and they start in just a few days.

The regular season has closed and now the "real" season begins. The playoffs in Mount Desert Island League start today and all the clubs that made it into the Mount Desert Island Series are hungry to claim the ultimate prize: the champion's mantle -- the Mount Desert Island Series title. The playoffs begin today with these matchups:
