MLB news: August 5 -- Cards' Fay and Cubs' Shaw suspended for fighting
St. Louis Cardinals reliver Tyler Fay and Chicago Cubs second baseman Matt Shaw have both been suspended following a bench-clearing brawl during the Cubs' 7-4 victory at Wrigley field on August 4.
Fay hit Shaw with a pitch after giving up a home run to Santos Pulido during the seventh inning.
Shaw charged the mound and the benches cleared.
Both players will have to sit for four games.
