Nick Hanson pitched well in his first start of the season before closer, John Stone nearly gave it away. He took a three run lead and gave up two runs, then loaded the bases before the Royals hit into a double play to end it. The Jays won, 4-3.

However you slice it, the goose egg has been cracked.
