While the "Great Secession" to the IPL left the BFA in a state of existential crisis, the Pacific Division stepped up to ensure the league's remaining season was a display of power. With the India Division goone, the Shanghai Ossen Red Eagles (SORE) seized the opportunity to turn the BFA into their personal kingdom.

Shanghai left no room for doubt. Finishing at 74–46, they secured the Table Championship by a massive 10-game margin.

The Contenders: The Beijing Guardian Lions (64–56) played solid baseball but couldn't keep pace with the Red Eagles' rotation. The Guangzhou Rams (58–62) grabbed the second wildcard spot.

he Guangzhou Rams proved they were built for playoffs. In a 7-game series, the Rams shocked the 64-win Beijing Guardian Lions, winning 4–3 and punching their ticket to the Finals. The Rams’ momentum ran directly into the Shanghai buzzsaw. The Red Eagles, rested and playing with home-field advantage, neutralized the Guangzhou bats. Shanghai took the series 4–2, completing the "Double" and asserting their status as the undisputed kings of the BFA.
