Jessie McGee and
Junior Caminero were going to make sure the Rays' title defense wasn't going to almost be over before it started and they led the Rays to an 8-0 rout of the Orioles to send the series to Baltimore even. McGee was completely dominant in his six-inning stint, although he had to leave with some back tightness which won't keep him from pitching in the ALCS should they get there and Caminero belted a first-inning homer and a third-inning RBI double for the first two runs.
Xavier Isaac added a big 2-run homer and Rays will now throw
Hagen Smith in Game 3.
In the other ALDS, wild-card winners Cleveland have one foot in the ALCS:
