I have tried to research Union Park in Wilmington, Delaware, where the Quicksteps played briefly as a Union Association team (jumping from the Eastern League) in August and September 1884. From old maps it is clear that the ballpark was just up the street from my house (I live in Union Park Gardens). But our local Historical Society does not seem to have any photos of the ballpark. It was used by locals and various minor league teams well into the 1900's. (The homes were built in 1917-1918.) The physical area would have been large enough for a good-sized field and grandstand. I intend to keep researching in the hope of finding old photos or at least a diagram.
