Vacant WBC SMW title
In what appeared to be a dominating performance from Steven Nelson, the American took the title via a MD over Alem Begic in Germany: 145-139, 145-140 & for some odd reason the Thai judge had the fight even at 142.
Nelson dropped Begic for 8 in the 11th from a hook & an uppercut cut sent Alem to the deck for 9 in the 12th.
Nelson also won PL - 310 (25%) to 252 (17%).
