Consider this: if, with OOTP, you simulate the 2026 season 1,000 times, you'll get a wide range of results. Some almost impossible results will happen. The Rockies might even win the World Series in one of those simulations. The Nationals might score the most runs (whoops, that's irl).

Reality is no different from the simulation. If we could re-run the season 1,000 times, it's unlikely we'd see the current standings very often. By all accounts, we are not living in the central timeline of possible 2026 MLB seasons. This is some fluky shizz.

So, comparing one OOTP simulation to this reality and calling the game broke is...broken thinking.
