Really, I'd just have all of this as part of a separate Stats Suite add-on, but don't get me started on that because, already, I digress...

Yes, I would like notifications of some sort advising me of milestones met and records set. We get some now but it isn't consistent at all, and misses some biggies along the way. It also mainly concerns single-season records, rarely all-time ones.

Couldn't agree more re franchise records but I thought if they got the universal ones right then the franchise ones would fall into line accordingly.

I specifically meant scoreless IP, a la Hershiser and Christopher Sanchez from this year, but others would be fine as well.

I love your daily report/review idea. Back in the day there was a game called PureSim baseball. I just googled it and it actually appears you can still download it for free. Similar in concept to OOTP, but an even smaller development team. In fact, I think it was pretty much a one man operation.

This game had some really cool features. If you were playing using real lineup/transactions it featured a link you could click on that would take you to the Baseball Reference boxscore of the actual game you were replaying.

My favorite feature of PureSim was the weekly report the game created called the PSPN. This report was so ahead of its time. It had a transaction tracker detailing the past weeks transactions. It had a section for the weeks top performances. Showed the current hitting streaks. There was a who's hot, who's not section. There was an injury report. There were sabermetric reports. Just tons of really interesting info. The report came out fresh each week and as the season went on, links were provided to all the past issues

If you google PureSim, you can take a look at a screenshot of a PSPN. Can't see a lot, but it will give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

OOTP could create this same thing and improve on it in so many ways.

On daily basis, I've always wanted the game to feature a old timey standings/boxscore/todays matchup page similar to what us old farts grew up with in our local newspapers.
