Jerry "Wimpy" Halstead fought all the guys on the way up and was a good test. A active journeyman/club fighter with a solid punch, but was easy to put on the mat. Still dangerous with his power however. Wimpy posted a record of 83(KO's 63)-19-1 in his career. A string of 5 losses at the end, the final a 2rd TKO beating by Waldimir Klitschko made him seek other options.
