Eddie "Aminal" Lopez had some "flash" and charisma if I remember. It may have made people think he was better than he was. A showman but whenever a quality opponent it was usually not a good result. Still, I enjoyed his bouts I did see. Lopez sported a record of 25(KO's 17)-4-2. A couple of good wins I guess at the time, over Jimmy Abbott and S.T. Gordon, had Draws with Mircea Simon and Leon Spinks. Loses were to Tony Tucker(KO-9), Marty Monroe(TKO-5), Gerry Cooney(Pts-8) and John Tate(SD-6).
The misspelling "Aminal" is intentional. It's the character "Aminal" from Sasmee Street I beleive.
