Great Ali-Zech fight!
Zech lost his opportunity in the 7th to pull a "Leon Spinks" upset but that was Ali-he could always move out of harms way when necessary.
Maybe Zech should consider Henry Cooper next as a chance to move back up for another shot. Offer Cooper the chance to fight for the European crown and he may take it instead of fighting Floyd Patterson as you mentioned earlier in this thread. If he can take Cooper then Patterson might be a willing partner since they both would want another shot at Ali. Once Ali gives Chuvalo and Terrell their shot, Zech wins over Cooper & Patterson would put him in a pretty good postion to fight Ali again or have a good money fight against another contender [Buster Mathis is about 16-0 at this point].
Joe Frazier will be fighting Chuvalo about a year after this point as he moves up the ranks so Zech has got a good shot at getting another fight with Ali between then and now. Anyway-interesting stuff.
