Rodney Bobick the older brother of Duane Bobick is probably most famous for his fight on the undercard of the Thrilla in Manilla against Larry Holmes. Rodney proved himself to be a very capable fighter in his shortened career in which he managed to fit in 44 fights in 5 years. His notable scalps include Harold Carter, Vicente Paul Rondon, a young Mike Weaver, Ron Stander, Pat Duncan and Roy "Cookie" Wallace. He also holds on his record losses to Terry Hinke, Larry Holmes, Scott LeDoux, Jody Ballard and Mike Schutte.
