This is Enzo Maccarinelli, those from the States may not have seen much of him but in Britain he is regarded as one of our best Cruiserweights. He is still only 23, but he is a very hard-hitting Cruiserweight with a very big future.

Enzo Maccarinelli is from Swansea in Wales, though his Italian sounding name may be deceiving. His career began in 1999 with a 4 round points victory and since then he has acquired a respectable record. Maccarinelli's record is currently 18-1, with 13 knockout wins. He punches as hard as any other Cruiserweight in Britain, maybe in the world. He has a good chin, although this has not been tested by the best as yet. Many of his KO victories have come within the first 2 rounds.
Maccarinelli has never fought outside of Wales and the United Kingdom, but his fanbase believes he can get to the top. Veteran Cruiserweight Johnny Nelson has been impressed with Maccarinelli's progress and already there is talk of a Nelson-Maccarinelli showdown in the future.
On 3rd July 2004, Maccarinelli was taken the distance by the Belgian Ismael Abdoul who is in TBCB. This fight was a very one-sided affair, but Maccarinelli couldn't quite knock Abdoul out and easily won on all 3 scorecards. This was Maccarinelli's fourth defence of his WBU Cruiserweight Title. The only other fighter to come up against Maccarinelli that is in TBCB is Garry Delaney of the UK, who Maccarinelli dispatched of with an eighth round TKO.
