Adao faught almost exclusively in the Sao Paulo area where he won the Brazilian Heavyweight Title by defeating Vicente Dos Santos. He defended the title once in a rematch with Dos Santos and retired shortly thereafter. Waldemar had decent power but was never tested outside of the Brazilian fight scene
