Anyway, he always appeared to be lazy to me. He seemed to have a good chin until the end when he had his fights with Golota. Some say he was never the same after his three fights with Holyfield. Before he rose from a knockdown to stop Holyfield in the 3rd fight, he took quite a bit of punishment.

Bowe's gained too much weight between fights. He would get up to 280 before training camp would begin. He came to the Turning Stone Casino (Verona, NY) back in 94, not to fight, just to make an appearance, had he was pretty sloppy looking. He was all of 280 then.
I believe that weight gain coupled with severe weight loss ages the legs. I've heard several boxing trainers state the same. When a boxers loses the legs, the rest of his game goes too. This, in my opinion, led to Bowe's premature aging in the ring.
