A Little help with my historical league
I am thinking of creating a historical league that starts in 1901 and have trading and free agency turned off for the duration of the league. I think it would be neat to see what would have happened if Ruth never went to the Yankees or Ryan stayed with the Mets or Brock never went to the Cards.
The only problem I am running into is what should I do when I get to expansion? The expansion wizard will be great for this but how should I fill out the expansion teams? I thought of going and drafting everyone that were actually drafted onto their teams, but then what if a player had a CEI or had all ready retired? The other option is to come up with a protected list for each team and draft players from there. I am leaning towards the second option but was curious what others thought and to see if anyone had any different ideas.

Well if using Ruth on the redsox when he was on the yankees in real life, then i dont see that CEI should matter. After all you have some players that may play past their real life retirement so i think it should balance out. My concern would be if the competition will be more balanced that it was in real life or will the yankees dominate the competition even more.
