Error then Crash when sim games

I have imported 2 different OOTP 2006 leagues and both crash when the first game is attempted to be simulated. I can do anything and everything up to the point of simulating games- doesn't matter if I sim 1 game or 1 month or whatever. If I click on the Quick Play for an individual game on the schedule screen it crashes the same.

I have downloaded and reinstalled.

One of the leagues is in year 2023 October after the playoffs, the other in 2007 = Pre-season.

I created a new league with the OOTP 2007 and played it and it simmed perfectly.

Okay, I went back and managed the first game by simming half inning by half inning. What resulted was a score of 60 something to 80 something after the first inning. No hits on the scoreboard. pitchers had about 40 walks.

topsix,

Are these 2006 games based on one of last year's roster sets? If so, these rosters sets are messed up.

Try this:

Go to the league setup, strategy tab, and enter 16000 as the walks league total, that will fix this.

We have a rule in Tech Support that says that requests that have gone more than 3 days awaiting a response from the customer will be closed. This thread fits that bill, so I'm going to go ahead and marked this issue as "closed."

If you disagree, please let us know, it's no problem to re-open this. It's an administrative thing we do to try to ensure that only active issues are being researched.

Thanks very much!
