why does Roster change when I don't make move

doing a NYY season. I sent down a few players and literally every "DAY" the game sends 3 players up that i want in AAA and demotes 3 players i want in MLB. I set settings as GM and Manager and that I control everything. Yet this keeps happening.

No other way to say it. You are not in control. Manager setting screenshots would help. Are you on vacation?

I think i figured it out. I put do not disturb on auto play and instead of "finishing Day" I was auto playing to next day. thanks
