renamed my backup file and now it is missing
it is missing when I try to restore it using OOTP 19 "restore backup" feature but is there in Windows Explorer.
I changed the name in Windows Explorer and then changed it back to what it was originally called and now it does not show up when using the OOTP19 game. Any help to fix this issue would be appreciated or did I screw myself? |

the directory should have an ".lg" extension -- no quotes.
mlb.lg new game.lg should show up after that... if not, double check path - open folder when trying to restore in game. make sure it's pointing where you expect it to point. tidbit about changing names of a backup -- it works incrementally unless you click "copy all" backup option. so, if you change the name, then go to backup in game, it will back up all of the most important bits completely, but news, game logs and that sort of stuff will only be since the last backup (now named a new directory) you'll want a 'copy all' backup anytime it's not the first time and a new directory. otherwise, the normal incremental backup is fastest, and of course you can use the incremental after any full copy. |
