Rule 5 Draft Bug

Thank you in advance for looking into this.

Every new game I have started recently (I've tried this many times, hoping it fixes itself) runs into an issue during the offseason with the Rule 5 Draft. Each time there are only none to 3 or 4 players chosen. I understand this can be the nature sometime, but it started happening every time.

I looked into it a little more, and realized that the day of the Rule 5 Draft, the AI teams fill their complete 40 man roster, and usually with players 20-25 years old with an average of 40/40 potential/overall rating (or players who would not normally been chosen).

Conversely, many good players, sometimes top 100 prospects, are left off the 40 man roster and let into the Rule 5 Draft. Being the only Human GM, I can basically pick a handful of pretty good to great players in the Rule 5.

Of course I was able to work around this and just not choose them to play fair, but it becomes a problem when most of the strategy is gone in needing to protect players on my own 40 man roster. I know players that I would normally need to protect will not be drafted by any CPU GMs, as they already maxed out their 40 man roster.

I hope you can understand how this is causing some frustration in me.

Hey Brian,

That is a really strange bug. I'll take a look at your uploaded league and try to get back to you by Saturday with more info. I may need to send this on to Matt one of our devs to see if he can figure out what is going on if I have no clue what it's doing. But I'll be back in touch soon and let you know what we find.
