Julio Franco went 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 RBI as the Blue Jays beat Cleveland, 9-8 in 13 innings. Two Toronto relievers left the game early: Candy Sierra and Larry Morris. Sierra appears to be fine while Morris just needs about a week to recuperate. Manuel Garcia also homered. It was a great bounceback start for Jim Abbott, but the big star of the day was Vincent Ramey, who went 3 for 5, including a Grand Slam.
