OOTP Montreal Save

We have all leagues selected as well as we will be going with short Season that way we can auto sim the 2020 and we will be starting our season at the end of the 2020 Season soon as the World Series is done.

We have decided to play as an expansion team. We have decided to expand the MLB by 2 teams

MLB – Montreal Expos (NL East) (Previously was in this division before they moved to Washington)
AAA – Edmonton Trappers (International League North Division)
AA – Trois-Riveres (Eastern League / East Division)
A+: Ottawa Rapids (Florida State League / FSL North)
A: Manitoba Marines (Plays out of Winnipeg/Midwest League/East Division)
A-: Prince George Kings (Northwest League / North Division)
Rookie 1 - Hamilton Expos – Appalachian League
Rookie 2 – GCL Expos (Gulf Coast League / East Division)
Rookie 3 – DSL Expos (Dominican Rookie League)

The way that the Montreal Expos Minor Leagues are two things:

As you can see all but two of our minor leagues are in Canada as I wanted to have most of our minor league clubs play out of Canada
The reason why we have placed our Minor Leagues in the ones we did as Some of you may or may not know is Toronto and Montreal have a huge Rival so I wanted to carry it onto this Save.

AAA – San Diego Waves (International League/ West Division)
AA – Oklahoma Timberjacks (Texas League / South Division)
A+ - Fresno Firebirds (Californa League / North Division)
A: Las Vegas Scorpions (South Atlantic / Northern Division)
A-: St. Louis Blue Birds (Northwest / South Division)
Rookie 1 - Springfield Generals – Appalachian League
Rookie 2- GCL Pioneers (Gulf Coast / South Division)
Rookie 3 - DSL Pioneers (Dominican / Bochia)

The leagues will be off just because I took random logos from the OOTP mods form to fill the Portland minor leagues.

Also one thing I will point out that we will be using the 1997 MLB Expansion draft that the Arizona and Tampa used with the 15 player’s protection however we changed the auto protect players with less than 5 years of service

We were given a two year deal at 100,000 per year until end of 2021

Jeff Hamilton was named as Hitting coach for Manitoba while Claudio Liverziani as Manager for Trois-Riveres. They have named Takamasa Shibara from Japan as Edmonton AA Manager

November 2nd

Francisco de la Rosa was named of the Expos Dominican Pitching coach

November 3rd

Jeff Russell was named as Ottawa A+ Manager

Kai Correra was named as the Expos Gulf Coast Hitting Coach. Previously served as San Fran Giants MLB hitting coach. Previous season had a record of 71-91 .438 Pct 34 GB with a .253 Avg 4.03 ERA 638 RS 695 RA 3rd Position

November 4th

Jose Tolentino from Mexico was named for Ottawa A+ hitting coach

Matt Blake was named as Manitoba A Pitching coach. Matt previously served as New York Yankees pitching coach in MLB this past season. They had a record of 103-59 .636 Pct with a 268 Avg 3.83 ERA 883 RS 657 RA 1st position

Ken Kato from Japan was named as Dominican Expos Manager while Rudy Pemberton as their hitting coach

November 7th

Frank Castillo was named as Prince George Low A Pitching coach

Andres Urbina who is a power pitchers coach from Venezuela as Hamilton Expos Pitching coach. Previously served as LA Dodgers DSL Team this past season. They had a record of 32-40 .444 PCT with 20 GB. They also had .243 Avg .379 ERA 282 RS 294 RA 8th Position.

Rich Butler was named Manager for the Manitoba organization

Marcus McBeth was named as the pitching coach for Edmonton AAA

Nelson Liriano was named as TR AA Hitting Coach
