Crash Bug

Scenario:

Receive a trade offer from another team within 14 days of Free Agency starting.

The other team is trying to trade for a player on your team that is a free agent.

Once free agency begins (and the player in question is now a free agent, and no longer on your team), accept the trade.

- Crashes game to desktop.

If you're accepting a trade for a player no longer with you, I can understand that the universe might come crashing down.

Yep, and given past history with OOTP and crashes of this nature, I figured beforehand it would crash the game, and wanted to see.

However, if it was a relatively minor player in the deal, I can see a user not realizing this and doing it accidentally.

The worst part is, if you haven't saved your league, you lose all data from that sitting (since you started the game or last saved the league). Unless you have a more frequent autosave on or something.

The bottom line, cases like this should be handled gracefully Nothing the user does should ever really cause this kind of catastrophic crash.
