How are we even able to play?
I've been playing since '03, and I love the OOTP franchise and how it runs. But, I am very disappointed because I am unable to run my own team, which is the whole point of this game.
Whenever I've set up a league, before or after the patch, the AI has always altered rosters. I have selected under game setup to run all team decisions myself. I have selected the AI to never run roster options, and then only run computer teams. The game does not say 'act as,' I am actually the commish. I've also run a different league as the commish. Does anyone have any definitive answers? Anyone who made the game?

Double posting isn't necessary, just focus on one.

I apologize for the long delay in responding to this thread.
![]() There are a lot of different permutations to this discussion floating around. I just want to figure out where your issue falls. Are you saying that if you create a new game, with you as both commissioner AND manager of a team, that the AI still makes changes to your roster? Or, are you using the Commissioner "act as" functionality? If it's the former, which specific roster changes is the AI making? Lineups? Moves between levels? Thanks very much, Steve |

We have a new rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
