Forgot to regenerate schedule after deleting teams, now I'm stuck on Opening Day
I deleted two teams from my league during the preseason, then exited the structure editor to do some other things and make sure everything looked right. Then without thinking I simmed ahead to Opening Day. Now the two teams have games scheduled and are getting illegal number of player errors since they obviously have none (though the game is saying they have 3 and 1, respectively, for some reason, but no matter).
You can't go into the structure editor outside of the preseason, nor can you change the schedule. I can't advance a day because of the illegal player error and manually editing my entire schedule would be a nightmare since every team has games scheduled with these nonexistent clubs. What do I do? Is there anything I can do? Is it time to throw this one in the can?

Hmmm.
Well, apart from the obvious (restoring from a backup or restarting the league from a template), I'm afraid I don't have much to offer. ![]() You could try filling the minor leagues with fictional players, to see if that gets you past the illegal # of players issue. But, that's probably not going to help you if your schedule is hosed. ![]() I'm sorry I can't think of anything better right now... Steve |

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
