Vorp

Iv'e noticed on the roster menus (MLB) that the VORP displayed is a combo of Majors & Minors. The same is true for all the minor league menus. Not sure if anyones brought this up yet.

On the major league roster it has him listed as 8.3 vorp (should be only major league vorp, unless otherwise).

Here is his player card numbers in both leagues. Should read 3.6 VORP, I can care less about his minor league VORP unless I use the "stats scope" button.

The big problem im seeing though, is the fact that its not JUST doing this with vorp but ALL stats.

Ok, I noticed I can select the "stats scope" menu to ONLY bring up mlb stats. It doesn't make sense to me though... Why do I need to use a filter to find major league stats on my major league roster?

Yeah, a better design choice would have been to have it default to MLB stats only.

Well the good thing is that it works right.

The silliness of it not registering what level the team is that you're viewing and calling up that level as default is just an unnecessary annoyance.

I'd rather them spend all their time working with the AI so it stops thinking it's a good idea to bring in a .090 hitter (in 107 ABs so far) to pinch hit with the game winning run on third base and 2 out, when it can bring in a .340 hitter (in 65 ABs so far). Or take out pitchers BEFORE they get pummeled, or before they throw their 5,000th pitch of the day. Or bring in a solid setup man to keep the game tied in the bottom of the 9th instead of the #3 scrub middle reliever.

I agree with the annoyance, but personally I don't and won't care until the AI starts managing at higher than a little league level.
That being said, I would definately not mind it if they fixed this to default better, I keep thinking my backup 2B is a god because it's showing a .440 BA, he hit .600 in triple A but is currently .120 in the Majors.

I think the interface is almost as bad as the AI in certain areas. I would love the AI fixed, I just think its going to take some time. To me, this is one less interface annoyance I HOPE, will be simple to fix.

Any way Markus could default major league stats for major league roster screens?.

Example:

When I'm on my major league roster I shouldn't have to filter out minor league stats. Basically major league stats for major league roster screens it just makes sense.

Defaulting it to whatever level you're looking it would be nice.

bump.

Steve anyway Markus could make the default stats whichever level your viewing?

Majors = Majors defaults
AAA = AAA defaults
AA = AA defaults

This way I won't mixup a player called up during the season and mistake his AAA stats for MLB stats. For example the VORP stat mentioned above.

Would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Closing this for now, as it's not a tech support issue, per se.

I've passed along the feedback about the drop-down though!
