OOTP 6.5 Import Problem
I'm trying to create a 2003 league with full minors. I found an old G-Force Total Minors 2003 roster set and brought it into 6.5 and then into 2006. I created minor leagues for each team, all levels, and then added fictional independant and foreign leagues. When I started the league I found that many of the players on rosters were duplicated in the free agent screen, with the wrong stats, birthdates, and no place of birth. For example, Bobby Abreu was on the Phillies and also a free agent. Shortstop Russ Adams, who was 22 in 2003 was on the Blue Jays AAA team with the right age, but also in the free agents as a 26 year old. Also some guys who weren't even in the league in 2003 were free agents, like Roberto Petagine, Kendry Morales, and Nohiriu Nakamura. The one reason for this I can think of is that I used the 2006 World Template that includes an imported 2006 roster set and then deleted all the MLB and MLB affiliated leagues, but left the Japanese and other leagues.
If that's the problem its an easy fix, let me know if anyone knows the problem, I'm still trying to fix the problem myself.

Please be sure that you have the latest patch. If you are using the latest patch and still having this issue, please let us know. I am aware of a similar bug that has to do with 6.5 imports but that one has already been logged into TT. It may or may not be the same as what you're experiencing.

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
