Statistics Issue
As is usually the case with the posts that I make, I am not sure as to whether or not this has been posted before, but I did do a completely non-exhaustive, mostly useless search to see if I could find something along these lines and when I didn't find anything in 73 seconds, I decided to start my own new thread.
I am playing with version 1.0.2.12262. I have started a new league/universe under this new patch and I continue to play under this patch. I am only in my second season so I cannot tell you how the game responds in season 3 or further. However in season 2, on the Rosters page (or the Pitching page or the Lineups page), I cannot look at my players' current season statistics. I only ever get the statistics from the initial year. This was not an issue under previous versions of the game. Also, since I'm posting I thought I should mention the fact that when one goes from selection to selection (i.e. changing from viewing all players to just rightfielders or any other of a number different changes in view), the slider bar is always at the bottom of the selection, meaning that one has to slide the bar up to actually see any of the players. While not a game breaker, it really is annoying, infinitely moreso when playing with my laptops finger pad instead of a mouse. |

I haven't been able to replicate the statistics issue. Could you clarify some things about your league, like what point were you at in the season, what were the settings in the splits, and scope? What type of league was this (major, minor, international, etc)? Maybe some of us could try to reproduce the error.
As for the slider bar location, I have found this, too. All I do is hit the 'Home' key and I go to the top of the list. It's annoying, and maybe it'll get fixed.

League breakdown is as follows: all the standard default leagues with some minor tweaks. Notably, I have tried changing the season start date for some of the default secondary leagues (i.e. Nippon Professional, Mexican League, etc.) so that all leagues' seasons end at least slightly after the major league season, thereby eliminating the frenzy of basically one month contracts that start getting signed around the end of August; the season start dates never do change. I also have three fictional leagues with no minors.
Stats scope is Major League level, split is overall. My belief is that it's the case for any split, though. Last edited by Slotback81; 08-21-2006 at 03:14 PM. |

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this one. I cannot duplicate this using my system (which is also a laptop, incidentally). I wish I could give more information to narrow this one down, but I have nothing new to offer other than trying to duplicate the problem and failing miserably.
Good luck.

Slotback,
I'm very sorry it's taken me so long to get to this issue. ![]() Obviously, it's been some time since you posted this, and the 1.0.3 patch has since been released. Is this still an issue that you're running into? Thanks very much, Steve |

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
