Missing free agent pitchers
All the SP and MR free agents in my league have disappeared. There are 400+ batters but not a single pitcher. I'm in the second season of a game and pitchers did appear as FA previously. I shut the game down and restarted but the problem did not go away.
Addition: I released an SP and now pitchers do show up in the FA list. But all the pitchers are now listed as MRs (except for the single SP I released). Some of these alleged MRs have endurances like 15, 19, etc so clearly the game has given them the wrong role as far as the FA listing goes. Last edited by BPS; 07-28-2006 at 01:33 AM. |

BPS,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond to this thread. ![]() Can you give me any additional information about this issue? Have you tried resetting your view or filter? Sometimes, custom views can cause people to see unexpected data, when it turns out their view or filter was causing the anomaly. What kind of a league was this? Thanks! Steve |

I had a problem like this with the small quick start league provided with the game except that there were no FA position players left after the first few weeks of play. The reason was that the AI teams signed them all. Some of the AI minor league teams had as many as 120 players. This has not been a problem for me since the latest patch though.

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
This one meets this criteria, since we haven't heard back from the original poster, so I'm closing this. If you want to discuss it again, just PM me with the thread link, and I'll re-open. (Don't just say "Hey, reopen my thread." I need to know the URL, thanks!) Steve |
