Duplicate Players
I've noticed when I import historical teams they have players who were traded away during the season. Is there any way to get around this besides manual editing? I started a 1901 league and there's at least one player on more than one team.

If you import individual teams into your league this is so.
Manual editing is required under this scenario. |

Thanks. I'm just doing a six-team league so it's no big deal.
I wish you could just edit historical leagues instead of importing them to a fictional league. It creates so much extra work (transactions, park factors, career stats). |

Yeesh, how do you import a historical team in ootp9? I used to be able in 2007 to do so from the League Structure edit page, but can't figure it out now.

League Setup -> Edit League Structure -> hit the Import Historical Team Button, pick your database, and then the team, year, etc that you want.

Thanks, I was trying to do it in the middle of a season, and didn't see the grayed out button.

Yeah, bringing in a new team in June might mess with the schedule a bit...
