FaceGen photos being overridden by historical photos

I have a ton of historical photos in my data\photos folder and I'm running into a problem where in my fictional leagues, if I have a player who has the same name as a historical player I have a photo for, the players FaceGen is being replaced by the historical photo. Is there anyway to give FaceGen photos priority in a league?

Are you running a fictional league or a historical league?

In either case, you can have the game generate player photos for your entire league manually which should overide the photos in the data\photos folder.

For some reason I thought I tried that and it didn't work. Seems to have worked now, however. Weird.

I find its best to load in the real photos into the actual saved game folder of your historical league rather than the main images folder. That way the real pics will only show up for the historical league and not other fictional leagues where players may have similar names as players in real life.

for some reason, whenever i put the photos in the \images folder, it crashes at the end of the playoffs. So i just keep em in the \photos directory heh

This sounds like a bug! Can you replicate this? If so, we need Markus' attention on this.

That's a good idea. Where exactly should I put the images? Should I create a directory called "photos" in the \saved_games\[league name].lg folder and place them there?

I'm pretty sure they should go here "data\saved_games\League.lg\news\html\images"
