A question on importing historical leagues

The guide posted looks very complete but i am having trouble on item 3. Select path to database. i click on it and then i am taken to another page. Now my question is exactly what do i do at that page and then get back to the original page. I click on Stats folder but don't really understand what is going on. when i get back to the other page i find that the import has failed. Can i get an exact procedure on step 3?

i think my problem lies in the fact that the lahmann database remains a zip file rather than a file folder. i unzip it but it remains as a zip folder.

If you can get Lahmans to unzip to your C:\Stats folder, when you come to the select path to database step find the path to the Stats folder and look for master.csv and click on it to begin the import.

I just did this last night. Make sure you download the Lahman CSV file (not the Excel or Access file). I download into c:\unzipped (this can be whatever your unzip folder is). Unzip the file and it will go to c:\unzipped\lahman5.4_csv folder. When you get to the game menu item asking for the fiel hit the up button until you see the list of folders for your c: drive. select unzipped and then select laham54_csv and the file is there.

Exclamation a question about lahman

Hi a newby here. I have a problem when I try to download lehman csv. I get 56KB of file in 1 second. then I get a corrupted notification. I had previosly downloaded the wrong version{microsoft} but I deleted it. Is this just a problem with the baseball archive site or something I have done?
