game won't run
I was trying to put the game on my laptop, using my second license. (Two gigs of ram and running Vista) What I did was put the install file on a memory stick from my pc then put it on the laptop. The install seemed to go fine but when I tried to run the game it would not run. So checking here I found that you had to run the game in administrator mode. I did that and the game tried to start but I got a weird error 23 message. I then figured I would uninstall and started the process and after about 10 minutes the process slowed to a crawl and would have taken hours to uninstall. So now I am not sure what to do. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated as I found the game so in depth that I was stuck in my home office playing half the night. So I figured I would put it on the laptop so the wife at least thought I would be interested in being in the same room with her!

OK, a couple of suggestions:
Given the power of that system, I'm assuming is has Internet access? If so, try redownloading the game to that system and reinstalling. However, BEFORE reinstalling, make sure that all of the directories that the game installs are gone (Program Files and My Documents). Try reinstalling again and see what happens. If it installs fine, then add nofacegen to the command line for it. This way you can make sure Facegen isn't causing any problems when you launch the game. Run it in administrator mode and see what happens. If it works, you can then take out the nofacegen and hopefully be up and running.

Still not working, tried what has been suggested and it appears to be tied to an error 23 that I tracked down to be something to do with the elicense. I can't remove the elicense in control panel and I think that is the problem. I don't know why it gave me the license if it was a demo. Any other idea's?

This may sound stupid, but have you tried contacting the eLicense people?

Thesetter, Curtis is right. You need to contact eLicense over this issue. I am going to close out this thread for now. If you think that we can help you out further with this problem, please ask a moderator to re-open this thread. Thanks.
