Injury File
I can test this, but I'm hoping someone that knows the answer can jump in and save me the trouble
![]() If I add an injury line called "military service" with no values (all zeros), will this line item ever be chosen by the game randomly or will it only be used if I chose it from the Editor? |

I can't answer the question, and maybe you realize this, but the injuries.txt file already contains a line with all 0's for the data--the last line in the file, for an undisclosed injury.
I've never seen an undisclosed injury crop up in the game, but the fact that the line exists must mean something (right?). OTOH, I can't figure out how a player's status would be affected by an "injury" where the values for minimum time out and maximum time out are both 0. |

Oh, I think I get it now --- you want it in the file as a possibility so you can edit it into someone's status, but you don't want the game to assign military service to someone who gets injured. Brilliant!
On further reflection, I guess this is what the "undisclosed injury" line is in there for as well. If you just want somebody not to play for a while, give him an undisclosed injury (and let the media speculation run wild!). |
