I has a power outage Sat. while in the middle of my game. When the power came back I re-booted the computer and loaded the game and all of the players in the league are now named Joe Unknown. I'm in my off season in November. Is there any way to get my names back? I even tried "randomize player names " but all the names came out in a derivitive of Joe Unknown. Can anybody help?

Hmmm, I wonder where the corruption actually comes into it. The fact that randomising names causes Joe Unknowns to still appear leads me to think that maybe names.dat is corrupt.

If you go into your game and export to csv and then look at players.csv does it list their names as Joe Unknown in there or as correct looking names?

I'll send you a PM, and if possible could you email players.dat and names.dat to the address in there and I'll have a look and see what has happened (if that's ok with the people who man tech support - I'm not actually one of them but I can see into the .dats)

I got sent a file by Wiggans but it wasn't the ones I was looking for so I asked for the correct ones to be sent but I haven't had anything yet on that regard so it's possibly still open.
