Roster issues...

Hi,

I did a quick search to see if this problem was posted, but couldn't find anything on it. If it has been discussed and someone has a link to the thread, posting it here would be great.

Anyway, I'm using the MeloMLB2007 roster set and am playing as the AAA Charlotte Knights. For whatever reason, several of the Mets' minor league teams have zero players on their rosters. I've tried filling the teams with fictional players, but that only generates one player for each team. I've tried manually placing players on the teams, but after I hit "Finish Today," the rosters will re-set to zero. It's only these three teams that I'm having problems with- every other team has full 25-man rosters.

I'm using the updated 2.0.2 version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both the Mets and Rangers need to be changed to computer management and make sure to turn on AI roster moves.

Does that solve your problem, MarkEdward?

Yeah, that was one of the first things I checked because as I was setting up the teams a while back I noticed the Mets' computer management button wasn't checked. So that wasn't the problem...

I play in Commisioner Mode, so I just resigned my Charlotte GM spot and switched to the Mets. I then moved all their lower minor league players to New Orleans (AAA), Bighamton (AA) and St. Lucie (A). That seems to have worked.

OK, I just noticed something, and this is weird. The players show up on the HTML reports (that is, the OOTP browser); so, say, when I view New Orleans' box scores on the PCL scoreboard, I'll see New Orleans' players like Andy Tracy and Sandy Alomar. However, when I look at non-HTML pages (like the roster tab), these players are nowhere to be found.

Any explanation for that?

I would try doing a search for those players within the game to determine where they are currently located. Does that help track them down?
