How to fix corrupted file.....

I created a fictional league after latest patch. I am in the off season after the second full season. The game boots up to the current date but when I try to advance a day the game crashes with a message that an error has been encountered and the application must close. Happens every time. I have two other leagues and they work fine so I assume that there is some corruption in this one. Any thing I can do to continue this league or is it caput??

I'm sorry about the long wait for a response, GBS.

It's hard to answer your question without knowing more about what could be causing the crash. Since you're in the offseason, it can't be something to do with games being played (although...do you have any foreign/winter leagues in your world that would be playing at that point in time?). Is there any particular event that is supposed to be taking place when the crash occurs - the Rule 5 draft, free agents filing, the annual SISA rescout on January 1st, etc.?

Generically, if there is something like that, you could try changing a relevant setting (such as disabling the Rule 5 draft, for instance, if that's when your crash is occuring) to get past it.
