very unhappy

one day playing through my game 5 years in game just shuts down says there has been a problem with the program, now every time i try to start or continue with a game it just shuts itself down everytime it goes to news feed ive tryed uninstalling and reinstalling searching for faulty files im very upset if u could help that would be good

I'm sorry to hear that you're upset. If you can answer a few questions for me, we might be able to get this straightened out.

Which version of the game are you using, please? If OOTP 2007, you should be on 2.0.3.68. If OOTP 8, you should be on 8.0.0.13.

Are you able to load up other leagues just fine?

If you copy all of the .dat files out of your .lg folder into a new .lg folder in your saved_games directory, will that new folder load up without any problems? (If you get stuck somewhere in trying to do this, please let me know and I'll be happy to explain further.)
