BZ 1108, 1512: 3 mails and the annoying menu

There are two things I'd like to report:

1. My bench coach retired and I hired a new one.
And I got 3 mails from him on the same day.
1st one says he'd consider, 2nd one says he'd sign, and the 3rd one says sorry he'd sign with somebody else.
He's already signed with my team, so the 3rd mail's definitely not for me.
Also, there's no need to send me the 1st mail saying that he'd consider if he's already decided to sign with me, don't you think?

2. Every time I open my Manager News, the default always gets to some old mails near the end of the bottom instead of showing the new ones.
Gets really annoying. This interface problem should be fixed ASAP.

I've updated BZ#1108 with the link to this thread for the first problem...it was found during testing.

ok so i league and i simmed a couple seasons then took over a team, so i go and clear out the personnel and goto sign new ones. i get an email saying the manager i want to hire prefers my offer, ok fine I'll wait for him to decide. and go aboput signing other personnel. well then i get 6 emails from the manager. one tells me he likes my offer and will sign, the rest say he's decided to sign elsewhere, I missed the first email the first time through so all i saw was he signed elsewhere. but i figured it out when i tried to sign another guy. but then it happened again with my pitching coach but this time with 12 emails. maybe it's because i'm still in commish mode while i figure out all the settings but even still i don't think i should get a copy of the emails he is sending to the losers of the bidding war. (if that is whats happening)

did i make any sense?
