Pitching stats not being recorded

Using default MLB opening rosters, game created by using the default "start new 2008 MLB game"

Managing Twins. Promoted Nick Blackburn and Francisco Liriano at seperate times to the majors after initially demoting them. Neither are having the stats kept.

Do I need to FTP the files ?

Are any other players displaying this behavior? If you promote anyone else to the majors, do they accumulate pitching stats?

The issue appears to only be happening to starting pitchers I bring up. Any position players or relievers are fine. This is not happening with computer rosters, only mine.

I'm having the same problem with Francisco Liriano and it is an AI run team on my system. Blackburn's Triple-A stats recorded but not his big league ones.

I think it's just these 2 guys. For whatever reason the scouts don't want to scout Liriano and the stats don't save for either Blackburn or Liriano.

Someone mentioned in the main forum to go into commish mode and see if Liarano is marked as retired, even though he is on a team. I checked my version and that was the case. Very strange to be marked retired but active. I'm assuming this is a bug, hopefully not too many players like this in the game.

It is more of human error than a bug. There may be a couple of others out there. I will find them and get them fixed.

That was the issue with him. So everyone you need to UNRETIRE Francisco Liriano to get his stats to record and to get him scouted

Awesome. Good work team. Now I just have to figure out how to unretire him. I did it as commish but it put him in the free agent list AND on the Twins. I'm guessing I delete the guy on the Twins and just move the free agent to the Twins?

Erich says: When you unretire him in the edit go to putting him on the team again. That way it won't dupe him. Or delete the guy in the free agency.

It unretired Liriano (and after re-signing with the Twins, it kept his stats) but Blackburn isn't listed as retired. Don't know what happened, but it seems to be recording his stats now as well.

I had the same problem and each time I uncheck retired, he is ending back up retired. I'll sim a day and check and for 4 straight days, I've had to do this.

I started a MLB rosters league and simmed for two months. I noticed that all of the Twins pitchers are 0-0. I then started another MLB rosters league and simmed for the first month. Again, all Twins starters are 0-0.

Where are you looking at these stats? Which page and so on? Do you have the right view on?

Are you playing with start highest rested starter for your rotation. If so then Liriano is starting every single game and they are not saving his stats. So what you need to is go to Liriano and in the commissioner mode, go to action and select Unretire. Once you do this though you will need to go to Free Agency and delete the version that gets created and dumped into that pool of players. This will not affect your Liriano on the Twins when you delete the duplicate one.

This should now be fixed for games created with a full reinstall of build 27 or later.
